Expedia needed a 3 month backfill cover based in Hong Kong to manage a broad range of legal work across APAC and EMEA. Expedia were looking for a mid-level lawyer with a TMT background, private practice and in-house experience and the ability to deal with senior business stakeholders.

Solution

They engaged a KorumLegal consultant to assist the APAC legal team on a broad range of general commercial work including drafting and negotiating international contracts and transactional work. The consultant worked on a full-time basis, onsite at the customer’s office in Hong Kong. The assignment was subsequently extended as the fit worked well for the customer.
