With hubs across Asia, leading digital travel platform Agoda often requires legal support to complement their growing business and legal team. To tackle this challenge, they have repeatedly engaged KorumLegal since 2018 to provide specialised consultants on a secondment basis.

Agoda has utilised both our MLS and People solutions, with secondments in Singapore and Hong Kong. Assignments have spanned high-level commercial and technology matters, payments and the development of regulatory compliance frameworks.

Titus Rahiri

CEO & Director

Titus is a senior corporate and commercial lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in private practice and as a general counsel across Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has led legal teams in NZX, FTSE and NASDAQ listed companies as well as high growth and 'unicorn' businesses on a range of matters including general corporate and commercial, business advisory and strategic risk and compliance. Titus has experience in technology, digital and e-commerce across various industries and has a keen interest in the legal transformation space and the business of law.

Rob Shakespeare

Commercial Director

Rob is an English qualified senior corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience across European and Asian markets.

Rob joined KorumLegal in May 2019 having previously worked as a corporate lawyer in the London team of a US law firm before moving to Singapore in 2016 to help develop their mainstream corporate and commercial practice for the Asia-Pacific region. He has supported global corporate clients with M&A, investments, joint ventures and other business expansion strategies.

Rob’s client experience includes secondments, public and private corporates, family offices, entrepreneurs and investment funds across a variety of industries and sectors, in particular financial services, technology and consumer goods & services.

Anna Pearson

Chief Strategy Officer

Anna has spent the last 8 years investing in companies with female founders globally, but with a specific focus on Asia Pacific. In 2022 she established Harriet, a platform that assists women in their quest to secure funding and build their business. Prior to this, Anna served as a member of Ladies Investment Club and a Venture Partner at Her Capital, responsible for deal sourcing and deal structuring. Through these roles she developed a passion for start-ups and market disruption across sectors and geographies.

Anna has 15 years of commercial experience in growing companies; she was formerly the General Manager of Axiom Singapore, responsible for the company’s growth and success in the region and an early pioneer of ALSPs globally. She was the co-founder of Axiom’s UK business, building and developing the company over 8 years in London. Anna also served as the General Manager for Plexus Engage in Australia and the company’s Head of People/Talent. She brings extensive experience in legal innovation, sales and account management globally, including managed services and technology sales leadership in the sector and human resources. Prior to moving into commercial roles, she began her career as a lawyer based in both Australia and London.

Gerard Tan

Commercial Manager

Gerard is a commercially focused strategy professional with over a decade of experience across global mining, commodities and industrial sectors. He held key roles at Anglo American Marketing Singapore, where he led cross-functional strategic initiatives in various commodities such as iron ore and base metals, and at De Beers Group, where he drove commercial strategy, pricing and the digital transformation of operational processes in diamond viewings and auctions. Gerard brings deep experience in commercial strategy and client engagement, and he’s passionate about helping businesses solve complex challenges through innovation and practical collaboration.

Outside of work, Gerard is an avid underwater macro photography enthusiast. He enjoys travelling the world in search of unique dive destinations, capturing the vibrant beauty of the underwater world through his lens.

Stephanie Kwok

Head of Talent & Community

Stephanie has significant experience recruiting for legal professionals, working across both in-house and private practice markets in Hong Kong, Singapore and China. She has a strong track record of placing legal professionals at all levels for commerce and industry, professional service, as well as financial service clients. She has worked closely with a variety of companies across multiple industrial sectors, from smaller sized start-ups to major household brands in the region.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Hong Kong where she earned herself a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws. Prior to joining Korum, Stephanie has practical experience working for other legal recruitment search firms in Hong Kong. Stephanie is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Outside of work, Stephanie is a newly qualified F1 fan. She also enjoys fitness, traveling, and café hopping!

Rutvi Thakkar

Finance Manager

Rutvi is a seasoned finance professional with track record spanning over a decade. Her wealth of experience extends across diverse industries and companies of varying sizes. Armed with a master's degree in business administration, with a major in finance, Rutvi has also successfully conquered the challenging uniform CPA exam administered by the AICPA.

Harvey is a marketing and growth strategist with experience in fintech, Web3, and professional services. His career began with Publicis Groupe where he developed a strong foundation in media strategy, digital advertising and integrated campaign delivery within complex, multi-channel marketing environments.

Since then, Harvey has built a diverse career spanning brand strategy, growth marketing, go-to-market execution, and performance media, both agency- and client-side within organisations ranging from emerging startups to global household names, helping them build brand presence, design and implement scalable systems and drive measurable commercial outcomes.

A full-stack marketer, Harvey moves seamlessly between strategic brand narrative through data-led campaign execution, to performance optimisation and reporting. He is particularly focused on translating strategy into practical frameworks that combine creativity with measurable performance.

Sayyidah Syahirah

Talent Associate

Sayyidah is a fresh graduate, passionate about kick-starting her career in Human Resources. She is eager to gain relevant experience to support her professional growth and contribute as a valuable team player at KorumLegal.

Outside of work, Sayyidah loves taking photographs while travelling and exploring new cafés. She also enjoys the thrill of roller-coaster rides and the suspense of a good horror movie.
