Year in Review - 2023 at KorumLegal.

At KorumLegal, 2023 has been about refinement as we continue to look for growth across our products, revenue and profitability. As we reflect on the year, we continue to grow our customer and consultant base, increase reach across the globe and build resilience in our business and operations. Post-covid effects on business are still being seen, geopolitical wars continue to have an impact globally and macro-economic uncertainty and rising costs of business has affected many companies large and small. Despite this, Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSPs) are continuing to become more mainstream, with some notable activity in the market evidenced by expansion and consolidation, which is positive for a business such as ours. Closer to home, there have been many highlights for the year, and we share a few of these below.

Highlights in 2023

• KorumLegal was recognised in Chambers ALSP category as Band 1 in 2023, with our founder Titus Rahiri recognised as a leading individual in ALSPs.
• We revitalised our HQ operating model moving to an Agile Organisation model, allowing us to future-proof and optimise our business for growth and scale, aligning as one global team.
• Prioritising enterprise customers has been central to sustaining scale and growth.
• Our ongoing content and SEO & SEM strategic work continued with partnerships for amplified online presence and traction.
• Streamlined systems and processes, combined with a dedicated team, have led to increased customer demand and improved overall conversion rates.
• Showcased12 inspiring General Counsels in our successful “GC Spotlight” series and featured12 innovative LegalTech companies in our “LegalTech Soapbox” series.
• Re-introduced our “Consultant Spotlight” series featuring some of our wonderful consultants and sharing more of their stories.
• We hosted an exclusive GC roundtable luncheon discussing Generative AI and the opportunities and challenges that it brings to in-house legal teams.
• Continued to support and participate in industry events including FinTech Week, HK Legal Walk and other such events.
• We were proud sponsors of the Association of Corporate Counsel in Hong Kong’s 20^th anniversary.
